Six Flags Fiesta Texas’s 168 foot Superman Krypton Coaster is an exciting floorless steel roller coaster featuring six inversions through 4,025 feet of twisted track! The Superman Krypton Coaster, one of eight coasters at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, features three trains which can accommodate 32 rides per train with a capacity of 1,600 riders per hour. The coaster is unique in that both the top of the lift hill and the helix following the vertical loop extend over the top of a cliff! In addition to the vertical loop, the Superman Krypton Coaster’s inversion elements include a zero gravity roll, cobra roll and double corkscrew. Superman Krypton Coaster is only one of a dozen floorless style coasters throughout the world. The floorless term refers to the floor that retracts upon completion of the unloading and loading process in the coaster’s station. Therefore, once the ride has begun, riders have no ride platform under their feet. Superman Krypton Coaster features a 4-across seating arrangement, so riders on the outside seats see nothing but air underneath their feet during the ride! The riders on the inside seats have the unique experience of feeling that their feet are gliding along the coaster’s track. The Superman Krypton Coaster was one of three floorless coasters than opened in 2000, along with Medusa at California’s Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and Kraken at Florida’s SeaWorld Orlando.
